Silk Merino Sandwich Jacket

My problem was how to use gifted sari strips. I used two silk scarves from a charity shop as the base and then a layer of coloured wool rovings from my hobby stash. The strips were added last and the whole was wet-felted. I created the shoulder and front trim by knitting some sari strips.
