In Chinese beliefs, growing up I was told that dragon symbolises the strengths and passion of grand mythical creature, that will always stand guard and protect their family and inner circle. They are graceful, beautiful, ethereal, majestic, all these qualities that are sometimes so out of reach, nearly impossible to even fathom to embrace, especially during the last lockdown period. Weaving my little dragon let me escape and dream about better tomorrow, under the benevolent spirit that with every loop and stich I was trying to embrace and help with to face the days with a smile.
