Invariably when I buy a sheet set, a fitted sheet wears out long before the top sheet. I had a box of ripped fitted sheets which were too good to throw out, but not able to be used on the bed. The bed sheet boys are two dogs made from plastic water bottles and Chinese takeaway containers which I papier-macheted and painted before covering in strips of bed sheet. Their eyes are the water bottle lids and their claws are picnic forks.
