The Underwater Mermaid

I was inspired to make my artwork when my family and I went on a holiday to the beach. This is where I collected the shells from.My artwork is made from lots of soft plastics. The waterfall is made from plastic bags threaded through old chicken wire. Attached to the waterfall is a mermaid tail and sea creatures. These are made from bottle tops, old chargers, bread tags and other recycled materials. As you can see the waterfall flows down into the bottom of the tyre with more flowers and sea creatures. The tyre was found in a creek on the edge of the road. Thank you for exploring my artwork.
