Regretful Past, Hopeful Future

While learning about sustainability, we looked at the negative impacts of soft plastic on our world and how we can make changes to improve our world’s future. Our artwork, Regretful past, hopeful future, is made entirely out of soft plastic and portrays two parts – the negative impact soft plastic has on our world and what we wish for the future to look like. The ‘regretful past’ part of our artwork shows a turtle captured inside a plastic net with rubbish all around it. The ‘hopeful future’ part of our artwork depicts a vibrant, colourful underwater world with a thriving turtle, fish and coral.
