This collaborative piece was created by inmates at Broken Hill Correctional Centre. Inmates worked for months to create a work that reflects both Indigenous and Natural feels. Experimenting with numerous ideas, some worked and some failed. Aiming to represent the symbolic four elements of nature, earth’s natural colour palette, by using natural tones to represent Fire, Earth, Water and Air (red, yellow, green and blue).
