Mr Rooster

For Mr. Rooster I used two aluminum cans, cupcake wrappers as the crest, washers as eyes, an old peg as the beak, cut up spare cans as tail feathers and bottle caps as feet. What inspired me was my love for chickens and the idea of our teachers to encourage the school to be a part of the community Waste to Art project. To look at scraps of rubbish differently and turn it into something else like beautiful art. Mr. Rooster is a big chicken made of rubbish all put together. I made this to make people realize that cans are being piled up in landfill and left there for years without breaking down!
