Morning sun, children’s moon

The daytime moon is called a ‘children’s moon’ because their eyes are sharp enough to pick it out, while older people cannot not tell it from the clouds.

It is most visible in the early morning.

Materials used here to create the sun and moon are old copper water trough ball floats, trailer springs and scrap metal.
