We always strive to recognise and acknowledge the Wiradjuri People who are the traditional owners of this land. These artworks represent each room in their Wiradjuri names as a way to symbolise our recognition and acknowledgement of the Aboriginal people. These artworks were created by the children with a collage technique – we had a wonderful parent draw the artworks. After the exhibition, these artworks will be hung in each individual room as a display. Only minimal amounts of waste were generated during creation which were either recycled again or used in other artworks at the centre. No new materials were used in the creation of this artwork.
