This outfit closes the loop in a world of fast fashion and excessive consumption. The current mind set around our precious resources, undervalues the time and energy that goes into making fabric and material. Silk and cotton ties are works of art that stand on their own. Aesthetically, the garment is a one off. It can never be repeated, coming from a personal collection of ties, salvaged over many decades. In aiming to complete the loop, no new material was used, and no new ties were harmed in the making of this outfit.
